Real Monarchs News Release
SANDY, Utah (Friday, August 7, 2015) - Real Monarchs return to Rio Tinto Stadium Saturday night for the second of four August home matches, hosting the Tulsa Roughnecks as Head Coach Freddy Juarez' club seeks to bounce back from last Saturday's 0-1 defeat to Orange County. Saturday night's match is set to kick off at 7:30 p.m. MT and will be broadcast locally on KMYU (tape delayed at 10:30 p.m. MT), continuing its broadcast of all Monarchs' home matches, while the match will air LIVE on RealMonarchs.com and Real Monarchs' YouTube page.
Real Monarchs (2-11-6, 9 points, 12th West) will see the Tulsa team twice this week, as the club plays the return match in the home-and-away series over five days Thursday night in Oklahoma, prior to the Monarchs continuation to Oklahoma City for next weekend's game. The Monarchs will be without leading scorer Max Rauhofer (7 of the club's 19 goals in 19 games) after his red card and subsequent suspension late in last week's 1-2 home loss to Orange County, but boast Emery Welshman, Ricardo Velazco and several others in an attempt to replace Rauhofer's firepower.

Monarchs History v Tulsa Roughnecks
Saturday marks the first-ever match between the two clubs, who will meet again on Thursday in Oklahoma. Tulsa has won five of its last seven games (5-1-1) since the beginning of July, and the Roughnecks' 9-9-4 mark places them above the playoff cutline. Last week, Tulsa defeated Colorado Springs at the Switchbacks' home, the Rocky Mountain side losing for only the second time in 11 home matches this season.
