Man Of The Match: Terron Williams had a strong outing creating a flurry of chances for Real Monarchs, continually threatening to score. Over the course of the match, Williams frequently broke the backline of Minnesota United FC 2 and snuck in four shots on goal while creating additional chances by finding teammates in the box.

Telling Stat: In three total matches against MNUFC2, the Monarchs have been outscored 7-3 in open play, resulting in two losses and a draw. Real Monarchs will travel to Minnesota on July 9 to face MNUFC2 at National Sports Center where Tyrone Mondi's goal in the 28th minute saw the Monarchs earn its first road point of the 2022 season.

What You Missed: Real Monarchs dropped its Home Opener against Minnesota United 2 at Zions Bank Stadium. An injury-stricken first team saw the Monarchs forced to rely on RSL Academy talent, which led to the professional debuts of Nicholas Nobles, Owen Anderson, Cayne Madhlangove, Zavier Gozo and Duncan Jarvie. Twelve of the fifteen players who earned playing time for Head Coach Jamison Olave are current or former members of the RSL Academy.

What's Next?: RSL will travel to Washington to face the Tacoma Defiance next Sunday, April 2 at 8:00 p.m. MT.
