
RazorSharks Youth Basketball Camp

Rochester RazorSharks News Release
(Rochester, New York)....The Rochester RazorSharks professional basketball team will host two weeks of youth basketball camps this summer for boys and girls ages 8 to 17 years old. The FutureSharks Youth Basketball Camps will be held at West Irondequoit High School the week of July 23-27 and at the Rochester Institute of Technology the week of July 30 through August 3 from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. each day.
RazorSharks Head Coach Rod Baker and Rochester players Keith Friel, Demond Stewart, John Halas and other RazorSharks professional players will provide their expert instruction during the two sessions.
The staff will instruct the youth basketball players on principles such as hard work, learning the game of basketball and working together as a team while having fun. Teamwork and leadership will be the core values while learning and developing skills such as offensive and defensive play, shooting, rebounding, passing, ball handling and overall team play. Campers will be provided an official RazorSharks camp jersey courtesy of Canandaigua National Bank and will join the RazorSharks coaching staff and players for an awards ceremony on the final day.
