
RazorSharks Travel To Oklahoma For Rematch With Cavs

(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester RazorSharks will travel to Lawton-Fort Sill, Oklahoma on Sunday, March 21st to take on the second place Cavalry. The `Sharks lost their first meeting 97-90 on February 11th. That was the last loss for Rochester since starting on their current seven game winning streak. DeAnthony Bowden led the Cavalry with 18 points, while Lincoln Smith was the leading scorer for the RazorSharks with 16.
Thursday night in Buffalo, the RazorSharks completed their season sweep of the Stampede, winning 120-109. Melvin Council led Rochester with 25 points. Frank Turner finished with 21 for the Stampede (3-13).
Lawton-Fort Sill has won 10 consecutive games, with their last loss coming against the Halifax Rainmen on January 22nd. In their last game played on March 13th, the Cavalry defeated the Buffalo Stampede 164-96. Rashad Woods had a game high 25 points as nine other players scored in double figures. The Cavs (13-2) are led by DeAnthony Bowden's 17.0 points per game, followed by Woods (15.6) and Tim Ellis (13.8).
Jerice Crouch is one of the league leaders in points (17th with 15.7 per game), steals (4th with 1.9 per game) and assists (3rd with 6.0 per game). Marlin Johnson leads the PBL in steals with 2.7 per game and is also 7th in rebounds with 8.3. Keith Friel is 15th in scoring with 16.7 points per game.
The RazorSharks' (12-3) next home game will be Thursday, March 25th against the Quebec Kebs (2-11). Tip-off is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
