RazorSharks to host top-ranked Vermont Tuesday night

(Rochester, New York)...The defending American Basketball Association champion Rochester RazorSharks will host the #1 ranked Vermont Frost Heaves this Tuesday, March 6 at The Blue Cross Arena at 7:05 p.m. in a showdown of two of the top ABA teams. If Rochester wins their final two games of the regular season, and Vermont loses all three of their games this week, Rochester would clinch the Northeast Division title by percentage points. Rochester is ranked #6 in the current ABA Power Rankings coming off two road wins over the weekend - 105-83 at Newark Saturday night and 136-124 Sunday night at Cape Cod.

The RazorSharks have won seven-straight games and ten of their last 11 heading into the final week of the regular season. Rochester wraps up the regular season on Thursday, March 8 at The Blue Cross Arena against the Strong Island Sound at 7:05 p.m. The ABA playoffs are scheduled to begin the week of March 12-18.

33 STRAIGHT WINS ON HOME COURT AND COUNTING

The RazorSharks have won 33 straight games on home court at The Blue Cross Arena, setting the Rochester professional basketball record - and a local all-time pro sports record - for consecutive home wins. Rochester is 36-2 all-time on home court (16-0 this season) and have a 52-10 (.839%) all-time overall record in the ABA. The RazorSharks last lost at home on Thursday, November 24, 2005 - Thanksgiving Night - to the Niagara DareDevils 116-111 - which was over 470 days ago.
