Rochester RazorSharks News Release
(Rochester, NY)...The Rochester RazorSharks (17-2) swept the season series against the Maryland Nighthawks (6-12) with a big 2nd half, winning 123-102. Rochester scored 75 points in the 2nd half to extend their Rochester sports home winning streak record to 45 straight at the Blue Cross Arena. Despite Maryland's record they have been on a roll winning 3 of their last 4 heading into last night's game, with one of their wins coming against the West Division regular season champions, Quad Cities Riverhawks, 101-98, during last week's PBL Showcase. RazorSharks' forward, James Reaves, sat out with a sore back and plans on resting up for the playoff push.

With 2:55 remaining in the 1st half, Maryland held a 16-point lead, 55-39, after another 3-pointer by weaver. From that point on, it was all Rochester. The RazorSharks finished the quarter on a 9-1 run, capped by a 3-pointer by Sammy Monroe, pulling within 8 points of the Nighthawks lead, 56-48.
The RazorSharks came out in the 3rd quarter on a tear opening the 2nd half with a 17-1 run, and recaptured the lead in the first 3 minutes, 59-57, after a 3-pointer by Vidal Massiah, who finished with 16 points and 9 rebounds. Crouch led the charge back scoring 8 points during that stretch. Rochester finished the 3rd with 39 points and took a 16-point, 87-71, lead into the 4th.
