RazorSharks Prepare for Home Opener Weekend

(Rochester, NY)...Rochester's Professional Basketball team, Rochester RazorSharks, returned home yesterday from the opening weekend in the Premiere Basketball League (PBL) with a (1-1) record. The Team has been preparing for months and is in full prep mode for this weekend's long anticipated Home Opener.

The Home Opener Weekend at the Blue Cross Arena at the Rochester Community War Memorial starts Saturday, January 12th vs. the Reading Railers at 2:05pm and Sunday, January 13th vs. the Jacksonville Jam at 1:05pm. This will be an early season division rematch after a 101-83 RazorSharks victory on Friday, January 6th in Jacksonville, FL.

On Saturday, January 12th, the RazorSharks Salute all City of Rochester Employees with $3.00 off General Admission tickets. The first 5,000 fans will receive a 2008 RazorSharks magnet schedule and all fans will receive a 2008 RazorSharks pocket schedule, Game Day program, and a Meet the 2008 RazorSharks Poster.

On Sunday, January 13th, it is Fan Appreciation Day. The first 1,000 fans will receive a RazorSharks draw string back pack and fans will have a chance to win a game-worn jersey at the end of the game by registering at the RazorSharks Customer Service desk.
