RazorSharks Name Pat Brown as VP/General Manager

Rochester, NY: The Rochester franchise of the Premier Basketball League announced today that Pat Brown has been named the Vice President and General Manager of the two-time defending champion RazorSharks.

"I've known and worked with Pat since the 80's when he was working for another sports team in Rochester," says Orest Hrywnak, President and Co-Owner of the Rochester RazorSharks," and he's the perfect fit for our organization."

"Pat has over 20 years experience in professional sports and we are thrilled to have him in the PBL," adds Dr. Severko Hrywnak, Chairman of the Board and Co-Founder of the Premier Basketball League. "His business and marketing background will be a strong asset as our league continues to move forward into the future."

Russ Brandon, COO and GM of the Buffalo Bills added "It's great to have Pat back in Western New York. I have always had the utmost respect for Pat and what he has accomplished over the years. I'm extremely confident that he will do a fantastic job for the RazorSharks and the Rochester community."

Pat's sports career began in 1981 as the Assistant General Manager of the Rochester Red Wings. Since leaving the Red Wings in 1990, Pat has been General Manager of five successful minor league franchises, mostly in independent baseball. Pat has twice been named "Executive of the Year", once in 1994 with the Erie(PA) Sailors of the Frontier League and again in 1999 when he was owner and GM for the Asheboro(NC) Copperheads of the Coastal Plain League.

"It's a great opportunity to be able to come back home and be involved with a team that has already experienced such amazing success." Said Brown "I'm looking forward to building on that foundation and helping the RazorSharks organization grow even more. Our goal is to fill up the Blue Cross Arena for all RazorSharks games."

Pat is a graduate of Canandaigua Academy in Canandaigua, NY and SUNY-Cortland. In addition to family members and numerous friends in the Monroe County area, Pat and his wife Linda have a son Raymond (age 25) and daughter Makenzie (age 6).
