
RazorSharks leap to fourth in Power Rankings

(Rochester, New York) - The Rochester RazorSharks jumped into the #4 slot in the American Basketball Association's Playoff Power Rankings after winning two games last week and capturing first place in the Connie Hawkins Division with a 13-3 record. The RazorSharks host the Baltimore Pearls this Saturday, January 14 at The Blue Cross Arena at 2:05 p.m.
The ABA's "Pit Bull" Playoff Power Rankings are based on each team's win-loss record, number of games played and strength of schedule. The 36-game regular season schedule concludes in mid-March, with a single-elimination tournament-style playoff format following. The rankings are sponsored by the Pit Bull Energy Drink and Energy Bars.

LEADING SCORER REAVES OUT WITH FOOT INJURY
RazorSharks leading scorer James Reaves (Edison/Niagara) has suffered a stress fracture in his right foot and will be out of the line-up for 3-4 weeks. Reaves, who leads the RazorSharks in scoring (18.8 average per game) and rebounds (7.6 per game), suffered the injury during the January 4 home game against Boston. Reaves is under the care of the RazorSharks team podiatrist Dr. Joseph Carbone of Rochester Foot Care Associates.
