RazorSharks Face Puerto Rico In First Round Of PBL Playoffs

(Rochester, NY) . . . Wednesday April 14th, the Rochester RazorSharks play the Capitanes for Game 1 of the PBL playoffs. That game will be an 8 p.m. tip-off. The `Sharks will be staying in Puerto Rico after beating them last night by a score of 115-104. Glen Dandridge scored 21 of his 24 points in the first quarter. Elias Ayuso led the Capitanes with 34 points.

Rochester's Keith Friel is the PBL's 14th leading scorer with 17.1 points per game. Jerice Crouch is 10th in steals with 1.6 per game and 5th in assists with 5.7. Marlin Johnson leads the league in steals with 2.7 per game and is also 8th in rebounds with 8.3. For Puerto Rico, Elias Ayuso leads the team with 23.2 points per game. Angelo Reyes (18.4 ppg) and David Cortes (18.1 ppg.) are also top players for the Capitanes.

The first round of the playoffs will be a best out of three series. Rochester is the second seed, while Puerto Rico (14- 4) is the third. The RazorSharks (16-4) will have home court advantage for the first round series. Game 2, which will be played at the Blue Cross Arena, is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Sunday April 18th. Game 3, if necessary, will be played Monday April 19th at 7 p.m.

Tickets for Game 2 will go on sale Thursday April 15th at 10:00 a.m. They will be available for purchase at the Blue Cross Arena box office and online at www.ticketmaster.com. All season ticketlocations will beon hold for season ticket holders to purchaseuntil Friday at 1 p.m. After that time all unsold seat locations will become available to the public.
