RazorSharks announce 2009 schedule

(Rochester, NY)...The 2008 Premier Basketball League Champions Rochester RazorSharks announced today their 2009 regular season schedule set to begin on January 3rd in Augusta, GA against the Augusta Groove with the 2009 Home Opener to be held on Saturday January 10th at 1:05pm at the Blue Cross Arena. January 10th will be Championship Day where the 2008 PBL Champions will receive their Championship Rings and the 2008 PBL Championship banner will be raised at the Blue Cross Arena.

Orest Hrywnak, RazorSharks' Co-Owner and President says, "With this schedule, Rochester RazorSharks fans will get to see some great basketball talent at the Blue Cross Arena and we'll have some challenges to overcome on the road...and all the while, we will have a huge target on our backs as the defending PBL Champions!"

The RazorSharks look to defend their 2008 Championship this season, their second in the PBL, during a 20 game regular season in the PBL's Eastern Division where they will renew their Thruway Rivalry with the expansion Buffalo Stampede, and play the Wilmington (NC) Sea Dawgs, and Augusta Groove. Non-division regular season games will see the RazorSharks play the Chicago Throwbacks, Mid-Michigan Destroyers, and the Vermont Frost Heaves.

Season Tickets are on sale now, and individual game tickets on-sale date will be announced soon.
