
Rattlers to hold dance team tryouts

PHOENIX - The Arizona Rattlers dance team, the "Sidewinders," will hold auditions for its 2006 squad on Sunday, September 25, at America West Arena.
The "Sidewinders" perform during the Rattler's home games. Members of the squad also make personal and charity appearances throughout the Phoenix area.
Registration, which is open to dancers 18-years-old or older, begins at noon with the audition starting promptly at 1 p.m. on the practice court. The address of America West Arena is 201 E. Jefferson St., AZ 85004.
Dancers should expect contemporary hip-hop/technical choreography at the audition and will learn and perform a routine the day of the event. Body conscious dance clothing is suggested, and a headshot and resume (stapled together) is required. Headshots will not be returned.

The Rattlers will kick off their 15th season in the 20-year old Arena Football League in January of 2006. Rattler season tickets, which include all eight games played at America West Arena, can be purchased by calling 602-514-8300.
