Rattlers Stay on Top with Fighters and Shock Close Behind

Published on July 13, 2021 under Indoor Football League (IFL) News Release

The Arizona Rattlers remain in the top spot of the Indoor Football League's Coaches Poll after cruising past the Northern Arizona Wranglers in their Week 12 match-up, 62-19. The Rattlers rushed for 88 yards and three touchdowns and put up 145 yards through the air, scoring four passing touchdowns.

The Frisco Fighters switched spots with the Spokane Shock in the Week 12 poll as both teams continue to have strong performances. The Fighters took down the Iowa Barnstormers, 42-35, in Week 12, while the Shock defeated the Sioux Falls Storm, 46-35, in the IFL Game of the Week.

The coaches panel is represented by the 11 head coaches across the league. Each head coach's ballot includes his ranking of the IFL teams, with first-place votes earning one point, second place two points, and so on to 11 points for 11th-ranked team. The teams are then listed in order, with the team with the fewest points on top.

The entire Coaches Poll is as follows:

Arizona Rattlers

Frisco Fighters

Spokane Shock

Massachusetts Pirates

Sioux Falls Storm

Green Bay Blizzard

Bismarck Bucks

Iowa Barnstormers

Duke City Gladiators

Tucson Sugar Skulls

Northern Arizona Wranglers
