Rascals to Host Carpenter and La Russa
December 16, 2015 - Frontier League (FL)
River City Rascals News Release
The River City Rascals are big fans of the Cardinals just like the rest of St. Louis, and to celebrate their World Series anniversary they will be hosting two of the biggest members of that team during Rascals games in 2016.
Former Cardinals ace Chris Carpenter and manager Tony La Russa will be making historical appearances at TR Hughes Ballpark, where fans will have the opportunity to see two of the men who were most instrumental in bringing home the Cards tenth World Series crown.
The biggest opening weekend in Rascals history will be highlighted by the La Russa appearance on Saturday, May 21 presented by Mercy. Carpenter will make his return to St. Louis on Saturday, June 25 and the night will be highlighted with a Carpenter bobblehead giveaway to fans with a box seat bobblehead ticket.
Fans can purchase tickets to these games now through January 15 as part of a Rascals 10 Game Voucher Book package for just $99. The best seats in the ballpark will be sold through these packages, with each book containing one box seat to the La Russa and Carpenter nights. Carpenter bobbleheads can be added to your voucher book ticket for an additional price.
La Russa and Carpenter will each be throwing out the first pitch and addressing the crowd before their games. Fans will also have the opportunity to purchase autographs and take pictures with the former Cardinals during the game, details of which will be available in the coming months.
