Rascals Host Game 1 of the Division Playoffs Tonight

O'Fallon, Missouri - The 2016 Frontier League Playoffs get underway Tuesday night at CarShield Field as the River City Rascals host game one of the five game series against Western Division Champion Southern Illinois Miners. Tonight's game will mark the second consecutive season that these two teams have met in the postseason. The Rascals got the better of their rival last season by defeating the Miners in the deciding game to advance to the Frontier League Championship Series and are looking to do it again.
The 2016 Frontier League playoffs also include the Eastern Division Champion Joliet Slammers and the Evansville Otters. Both are five game series and the Division Champions will play the first two games on the road and then host games three, four and five if necessary.
During Tuesday night's playoff game, Rascals fans can play along with Baseball Bingo for a chance to earn prizes as they cheer on the team! Wednesday the Rascals will be giving away a FREE three day trip to Branson; all fans in attendance will have a chance to win!
Rascals' playoff tickets are available now. Prices of individual tickets will remain the same as the regular season. Groups of 10 or more or any fan that purchases tickets online in advance using the special code "PLAYOFFS" will receive a discounted ticket.
