Raptors to return home against Peoria

Rock River Raptors News Release
The Rock River Raptors return home for the first of three straight home games at "The Rock Pile" beginning on April 22nd when the Peoria Rough Riders pay their first visit to the MetroCentre. Kick-off is set for 7:30 p.m.
The game can be heard on the Raptors Radio Network. Pre-game with Andy Gannon and Kyle Jacob on ESPN 1380-AM "The Jock" and the "The Big Easy" 93.7 FM will begin at 7:05 p.m. The game will also be available on the internet on www.espn1380.com, www.wekz.com and on www.raptorsuif.com.
The Raptors are 2-2 on the season and are coming off a 48-34 loss to Sioux Falls at the "Storm Shelter" in South Dakota. Raptors linebacker Ty Myers had an outstanding game to lead the defense. Myers registered 10 tackles and also picked off two passes.
Ade Adeyemo and Luke McArdle were the leading receivers for Rock River. Adeyemo caught seven passes for 55 yards and McArdle had hauled in six passes for 74 yards.
Randy Bell rushed for 30 yards on seven carries and also scored three touchdowns.
The Rough Riders are 0-3 after a 60-53 loss to Ohio Valley. On defense, Peoria is led by defensive back Blue Aldridge, who has made 22.5 tackles. Defensive lineman Andrew Franklin has registered four sacks in two games.
Quarterback Matt Schabert has thrown for 382 yards. His favorite receiver has been Phil Taylor, who has caught 17 passes for 181 yards.
RAPTORS NOTES
RAPTOR PARK will open at 5:30 p.m. and will remain open until game time. Great food such as Burgers, Brats, Hot Dogs and Chips will be available for purchase along with beer, soda and water.
