
Raptors Announce Change in Football Camp Dates

Rockford, IL - The Rock River Raptors of United Indoor Football (UIF) would like to announce a change in date for the team's "Desire Wins Championships" Happy Joe's Football Camp. Due to unforeseen events, the date has changed from June 22-23 to Friday, June 29 and Saturday, June 30. The overnight camp will focus on position-based fundamentals for age groups 6-10 and 11-14.
Starting at 6 p.m. Friday, each camper will be provided a meal with the players at the MetroCentre and then receive instructions from the Raptors' coaching staff. Saturday will begin with an early start for an indoor football tournament on the Raptors' field and finish with a special talk from the Raptors' Head Coach, Rik Richards. The winning team for both age groups will receive a special Raptor prize.
All campers will receive a free camp T-shirt, a Raptor Gridiron ticket, and a special introduction during the halftime of the June 30 game against Lexington. Dinner and breakfast are also included, as well as player autograph opportunities.
Registration is currently underway and will continue till Wednesday, June 27. The cost of registration is $100.
