Colorado Rapids News Release
COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (February 26, 2013) - The Colorado Rapids announced today a new, multi-year partnership with 7-Eleven, Inc. that includes the creation of "The Corner 7-Eleven" at Dick's Sporting Goods Park and value-priced tickets. "The Corner 7-Eleven" will be located in Sections 112 and 113 at the stadium, and fans can purchase $15 tickets for the special area at any of 330 7-Elevené retail locations in Colorado.
"Partnering with 7-Eleven and offering Rapids tickets in their stores gives us a phenomenal platform to reach new and existing soccer fans throughout the state," said Rapids President Tim Hinchey. "As a well-known brand with a huge influence, 7-Eleven is a perfect company to join with in 2013 and beyond."
"Offering Rapids tickets to our customers is a great example of how 7-Eleven goes above and beyond for the people who come to our stores," said Jason Heffelfinger, zone leader for 7-Eleven stores in Colorado, Utah, Missouri and Kansas. "Customers will have the opportunity to experience professional soccer at the best price available and the convenience of buying tickets at any of more than 300 7-Eleven locations throughout Colorado."
"The Corner 7-Eleven" will seat approximately 880 fans, and the $15-ticket, which is available for all Rapids home matches, will be the lowest-priced ticket in the stadium. Fans can purchase a voucher at any participating 7-Eleven store, then redeem it at the Rapids Box Office for entrance to any game on a first-come, first-served basis.
Additionally, 7-Eleven locations throughout Colorado will have four Enter-To-Win sweepstakes opportunities throughout the season, with the winning package including VIP tickets to a Rapids home match, pre-game sidelines passes and an authentic Rapids jersey.
