
Rangers Depart For Rouyn-Noranda

The Kitchener Rangers embark on a road trip to Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec this afternoon. The Rangers will play two exhibition games against the Huskies as part of a team building experience.
The puck drops for game one on Saturday, September 5th at 7:30pm and game two on Sunday at 4pm. The Rangers will depart post game Sunday for Barrie. Then will travel to Brampton on Monday for a 2pm exhibition game against the Battalion.
The Huskies finished the 2008-09 regular season 11th over-all among 18 Quebec League teams, with 30 wins and 30 loss' on the season.
Associate Coach and Assistant GM of the Rangers Paul Fixter mentioned that this trip will be a good way for their young team to bond and get to know each other better, "it's a different league that will offer a new experience for the players."
Head Coach and GM Steve Spott of the Rangers and Andre Tourigny of the Huskies will meet once more this year when they join forces as Assistant Coaches for Canada's World Junior U-20 Team starting in December 2009.
The Rangers return home on Friday, September 11th versus the Oshawa Generals. Game time is 7:30pm.
