
Rangers' Coach McKenzie Fined $5,000

Toronto, Ont. - The Ontario Hockey League today announced that the Kitchener Rangers Hockey Club has been fined $5,000.00 as the result of unprofessional public comments made by Interim Coach and General Manager Mike McKenzie following the conclusion of Game 2 of their Western Conference Semi-Final series against the London Knights on Friday.
It is the opinion of the League that the comments are demeaning to our game and provide an overall negative environment to the series.
