Grand Rapids Rampage News Release
Attention future Grand Rapids Rampage stars! Now is your chance to learn from the pros, as the Rampage are hosting a youth football camp from August 2-4 at Houseman Field, located at 152 Houseman NE in Grand Rapids, from 9am-noon each day. The cost of the camp is just $100 and includes three days of football development and skill enhancement from the pros.
Boys and girls entering grades 7-12 this fall are welcome to attend the camp. Attendees will receive special instruction in football basics: passing, catching, kicking, blocking and more.
Along with Rampage head coach Sparky McEwen and Offensive Coordinator Michael Baker, Rampage players Chris Avery, Anthony Hines, Peter Martinez, Josh Bush and Travis Reece will provide insight to the skills required to play their positions.
"It's important that we give back to the community, and this is one of the ways," Baker said. "The kids will have fun at this camp and will also learn fundamentals of football, teamwork and skills that they will use throughout their lives."
