Wichita Stealth News Release

Wichita, Kan. - The Wichita Stealth announced today that offensive/defensive lineman Dustin Fish has been signed by the Grand Rapids Rampage of the Arena Football League. Fish becomes the second Stealth player signed to an AFL contract this week and the sixth in team history. Fish will join former Stealth teammate Brian Livingston with the Rampage.

"We are very excited for Dustin," said Stealth operator David Key. "We wish him the best and we know he will represent the Stealth organization very well."

Fish played for the Stealth at the end of the 2002 season and for all of the 2003 season. He compiled five and a half tackles, and three sacks (which was the second highest total on the team). "I am extremely pleased with the opportunity presented to me by Coach Cortese," said Fish. "I am going to make the most of the situation and work as hard as I can to earn my spot on this team."

Fish overcame a knee injury at the first of the 2003 season and was a force the rest of the way for the Stealth. His brightest performances during the 2003 season came in divisional road games at San Diego and Bakersfield. In each of those games, he had one solo tackle and one sack.

Fish came to the Stealth after spending four seasons at Eastern New Mexico University. He was twice named All-Lonestar conference and also participated in the Cactus Bowl All-Star game.

"Dustin was a joy to coach this past season," said Stealth head coach Sean Ponder. "He will definitely be missed, but we wish him the best in Grand Rapids. His biggest asset is that he is a tough, physical player who can play any position along the offensive or defensive line."

STEALTH NOTES: Season tickets are available by calling the Stealth ticket sales representatives at 316.755.3307. Fans can secure the same great seats for all eight home games during the 2004 season for as little as $80. The Stealth will kickoff their fourth season in April 2004.
