Under the direction of new Head Coach, Mike Evans, the Halifax Rainmen defeated the Saint John Mill Rats by a score of 97 to 84 in front of 3,884 fans. The game was the first played in the Rogers Fan Cup series.
The leading scorer for the Rainmen was Marshall Brown with 20 points, followed by Josh Dollard with 16. Tajuan Porter added 14 points, hitting 4 three-point shots out of 7 attempted. The official box score statistics can be found attached to this press release.
The Rainmen will return to the Metro Centre tomorrow afternoon at 3 pm as they take on the Rochester Razorsharks.
