Rainmen Shut Down Power in Thriller

(HALIFAX, NS) The Halifax Rainmen defeated the Oshawa Power in a thrilling game on Sunday afternoon in front of 3,219 fans. The final score was 109-108. The leading scorer for the Halifax Rainmen was Lawrence Wright with 23 points, followed by Tyrone Levett with 21. Taliek Brown added 18 points and Eddie Robinson added 11 in the win.

Leading the Oshawa Power was Omari Johnson with 24 points, followed by Akeen Wright with 21. Marcus Johnson added 16 for the Power, while Brandon Robinson added 13. Paul Campbell had 13 rebounds for the Power.

The Rainmen will play their next game on the road against the Quebec Kebs on December 23, and will travel to Oshawa to face the Power less than 24 hours later.

The Rainmen will return to the Metro Centre on Sunday, January 1 at 2:00 p.m. Tickets for the New Years Day game are available at Ticket Atlantic locations and at the Metro Centre Box Office.
