Rainmen Lose in Pre Season Action

The Halifax Rainmen lost their first pre-season game to the Summerside Storm on Sunday afternoon in front of 7,564 fans.

The leading scorer for the Rainmen was Hillay Haley with 31 points, shooting an impressive 12 of 18 from the floor followed by Darren Duncan with 15 points and Eddie Smith with 10. Hillary Haley also pulled down 12 rebounds for the Rainmen.

The Summerside Storm's leading scorer of the game was Greg Plummer with 30, followed by Louis Birdsong with 18. The unofficial box score statistics can be found attached to this press release.

The Rainmen's regular season home opener takes place on Saturday, November 10 th at 7:00 p.m. when they face the Saint John Millrats.
