
Rainmen Defeat Miracles

(Halifax, NS) On Saturday afternoon, the Halifax Rainmen defeated the Moncton Miracles during their special Rogers Day game by a score of 104 to 95 in front of 3,256 fans.
The leading scorer for the Rainmen was Lawrence Wright with 26 points, followed by Joey Haywood with 15. Justin Johnson and Taliek Brown chipped in with 12 points each. Rainmen centre Abdullhai Kuso led his team in rebounds with six offensive rebounds and five defensive rebounds.
Leading the Moncton Miracles in their ninth loss of the season was Boubacar Coly with 16 points and 19 rebounds, followed by Andrew Francis with 14 points.
The Rainmen play their next game on the road this Thursday, December 8 against the Summerside Storm, and will return to the Metro Centre on Saturday, December 10 at 7 p.m. where they will face the Quebec Kebs for the first time this season.
