
Rainmen and the HRM Host Free Camp for Kids

(Halifax, N.S.) The Halifax Rainmen along with title sponsor of the Holiday Classic, the Halifax Regional Municipality will host a free basketball camp for kids on Saturday December 27, 2008. The 2 hour skills training will be held at Citadel High School beginning at 10am until noon.
The camp is open to kids between ages 8 to 15. There are spaces for 60 children and it is on a first come first serve basis. Coach Rick Lewis and selected players will teach skill sets during the session.
"What better time to give back to the community than during the holiday season," said Coach Lewis. "We are happy to use our free time to help kids with their basketball skills."
No pre-registration is necessary. Kids interested are asked to come to Citadel High School in Halifax at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the camp.
