Rainiers Finalize Pre-Season Party Lineup

TACOMA, Wash. - The Tacoma Rainiers today announced the final slate of events scheduled for the club's Pre-Season Party, held this Saturday, March 30th, from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Cheney Stadium.

Headlining this year's event are complimentary previews of many of the new dining options introduced by the club this season. The Rainiers welcomed Northwest dining icon Ivar's Inc. as the team's exclusive food and beverage partner at Cheney Stadium in 2013, ushering in a wave of locally-based dining options to Cheney Stadium.

The Pre-Season Party offers guests a first chance to sample from selections such as Ivar's famous clam chowder, hearty burgers from Kidd Valley, Beecher's Mac & Cheese and pizza crafted by The Hub at their new homes located throughout the Cheney Stadium concourse.

From the home clubhouse and dugout to the Summit Club, every guest in attendance is also offered an all-access look at the ballpark on ballpark tours available throughout the day. The Kids Zone at the Alaska Airlines Family Terrace will host bounce houses, balloon artists and face painters, with frequent visits by the Rainiers resident reindeer, Rhubarb.

All guests are invited to head to the seating bowl to Tag-A-Seat - a chance to purchase season tickets, and then take in the view from those exact seats. Single-game tickets to every Rainiers home game throughout the season, including July 3rd and Friday Night Fireworks dates, will be available for purchase at the Cheney Stadium Box Office.

As always, the Pre-Season Party is open to the public. Both admission and parking to the event are free of charge, along with complimentary hot dogs and soda served throughout the stadium. The Rainiers Team Store will also be open to introduce the latest Rainiers gear that will be featured during the team's 2013 season.

The Rainiers officially begin the team's 2013 campaign on the road this Thursday, April 4 at Fresno before opening the club's first homestand of the season on Friday, April 12th at 7 p.m. To purchase tickets to Opening Weekend, season ticket packages or a group outing, please call (253) 752-7707 or email tickets@tacomarainiers.com.
