
Rainfall Suspends Tarpons and Flying Tigers in 6th Inning

TAMPA, Fla.- Today's game between the Tampa Tarpons and Lakeland Flying Tigers was suspended in the bottom of the sixth inning, with the score tied, 4-4.
The game is set to be completed as part of a doubleheader on Thursday, June 3rd at 4:00 p.m., with the gates opening at 3:30 p.m. Play will resume in the bottom of the sixth, with no outs and a 1-0 count on Austin Wells.
Approximately 30 minutes following the completion of the suspended nine-inning game, the teams will play the regularly scheduled nine-inning game.
Tickets from today's suspension may be taken to the George M. Steinbrenner Field box office and redeemed for the Thursday, June 3rd double header only.
