
RailCats' Announce 6th Annual Kid's Baseball Camp

Gary, Ind.- The Gary SouthShore RailCats and U. S. Steel will present the 6th Annual Kid's Baseball Camp from July 11th through the 13th. When kids ages 8-16 register in the camp, they will receive instructional coaching from RailCats' manager Greg Tagert and select RailCats' players and coaches.
The camp will take place on July 11th and 12th from 9:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. and July 13th from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Check-in begins July 11th at 9 a.m.
Kids will be divided into age groups and skill levels. Instructors will stress the importance of baseball fundamentals and focus on hitting, pitching, catching and fielding.
This is a great opportunity and a memorable experience for any child. The registration fee is $90 per camper, which includes an official camp T-shirt, lunch everyday and two tickets to see a RailCats' home game following each day of the camp.
The defending Northern League Champion Gary SouthShore RailCats and World Data Systems/NPC are also offering the kids a chance to win a free baseball scholarship to the Mickey Owen Baseball School.
