LAKELAND, FL - With the upcoming season around the corner, The Lakeland Raiders have begun their invasion mission with membership in the Lakeland Area Chamber of Commerce. This big step for the Raiders demonstrates their commitment to be an integral part of the Lakeland business community. Owner Michael Mink showed his community spirit by joining the Lakeland Area Chamber of Commerce and had this to say about The Raiders newest accomplishment "We are proud small business owners and want to show the community what a strong and vital organization The Raiders will be when they take to the field in 2012. This is the first step in the process of building a foundation for growth and will allow our team to be a part of a bigger business picture."
The Lakeland Area Chamber of Commerce represents 1,600 member businesses in the Lakeland area and provides opportunities for networking, professional development and advocacy for businesses of all sizes. Also, serving as the Convention & Visitors Bureau for Lakeland, the Chamber is dedicated to enhancing quality of life and economic growth. "The Chamber is proud to partner with Lakeland's newest team! Lakeland has a rich history with professional sports and we value the benefits a team brings to the tourism industry and quality of life. The Lakeland Raiders have a bright future ahead of them" said Amy Wiggins, Vice President, Communications for the Lakeland Area Chamber of Commerce.
The Lakeland Raiders offer affordable season tickets packages with prices with ranging from $59 to $3500 for a lower level box. Official try-outs for the new Lakeland Raider battalion will be held on Saturday, October 8th at Lakeland Christian School located at 1111 Forest Park Street in Lakeland. Registration begins at 10am. Players are advised to bring cleats and proper clothes for a variety of different drills and plenty of liquids for hydration. The players can pre-register at www.lakelandraiders.com.

The Raiders are a Professional Indoor/Arena Football Team in the Ultimate Indoor Football League(www.theuifl.com). The Raiders organization is a community based team that supports affordable family fun and entertainment. The original Marine Raiders were honored a group of warriors and sons from America.
