
UIFL Announces Divisional Alignment

ATHENS, GA - The Ultimate Indoor Football League (UIFL) is officially announcing the formation of divisional formats for the 2012 season.
The league will be divided into two conferences with two four-team divisions. The west division of the Northern Conference will be Cincinnati, Danville, Marion, and Northern Kentucky, while the east division will consist of Canton, Erie, Johnstown, and Saginaw.
Florida, Lakeland, Mississippi and Rome make up the west division of the Southern Conference, while Carolina, Eastern Kentucky, Huntington and Tennessee comprise the east division.
With the league schedule in the final stages, the league plans to release the schedule as early as next week.
Fresh off expansion, the Ultimate Indoor Football League enters its second season starting in late February. Consisting of 16 teams in 11 states, all east of the Mississippi, the UIFL provides fast-paced, affordable family entertainment.
