Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide News Release

OLD ORCHARD BEACH, ME - The Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide have continued to build their roster for this summer by adding three more players. The three players all come from Framingham State University, and they are all New England natives.

The first is Dillon Corliss, currently a junior, from Winterport, ME. Corliss is a 6'2" pitcher who attended Hampden Academy for high school. As a starter, Corliss has had a solid year on the mound. He's made six starts and amassed a 4-2 record with a 2.87 ERA and 18 strikeouts in 31.1 innings pitched.

Joining him on the pitching staff is fellow starter, Zack Kirby. Also in his junior year, Kirby is from Rochester, MA and attended Old Rochester for high school. The 6'2" right hander is also pitching well for the Rams. Although his 1-3 record is not indicative of this, Kirby has a very respectable 3.32 ERA, pitched three complete games, and leads his team with 30 strikeouts.

Rounding out the Framingham trio is junior infielder Mark Mainini. The Hull, MA native has started all 28 games for the Rams and has a great stat line to show for it. Mainini has scored 16 runs, hit four doubles, one homerun, has 16 runs batted in, walked 15 times and stolen 20 out of 24 bases, all while batting .322/.427/.402. His hitting and speed on the base paths should prove to be a great asset to the Tide offense.

The Raging Tide's home opener is on June 4th at 7pm at The Ballpark in Old Orchard Beach against the Nashua Silver Knights.
