Raging Tide Sign Marist Teammates Pagano and McIntire

OLD ORCHARD BEACH, ME- The Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide of the Futures League has announced the signing of Marist College Freshman Matthew Pagano and Graham McIntire. The Red Fox baseball program is a member of the highly competitive Division 1 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.

As a native of Cranston, Rhode Island, OF Matthew Pagano was a highly touted New England prospect before committing to Marist. During his senior year at Cranston West High School, Pagano was a key player in capturing the Division 1 Rhode Island State Championship.

Highlights during the championship included a 6 RBI performance in game two of the three game series while also performing in crucial relief situations as a Pitcher. Pagano captured the tournament MVP to go along with a stellar senior season which included a .343 batting average, with 27 RBIs and 35 runs scored.

Pagano was also named the Providence Journal Honor Roll male from Cranston West for his success both academically and athletically. Last year, Pagano attended Bridgeton Academy in North Bridgeton, Maine and was a member of both the Baseball and Hockey team.

Graham McIntire hails from Concord, New Hampshire and attended Concord High School. He was featured in ESPNHS as one of the top high school baseball players in New Hampshire last season and nearly captured Player of the Year honors while leading Concord High School deep into the playoffs.

Raging Tide Opening Night will be Thursday, June, 6th at 7:00pm as they take on the Seacoast Mavericks at The Ballpark in Old Orchard Beach.
