Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide News Release
OLD ORCHARD BEACH, ME- The Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide of the Futures Collegiate Baseball League has announced the signing of Redshirt Freshman and Pitcher John Mildner from Le Moyne College (Syracuse, New York).
The signing of Mildner will add yet another strong arm to the Tide's pitching rotation this summer as the 6 foot Right Handed Pitcher has shown the ability to throw the fast ball in the lower 90's.
Mildner is a native of Newtown, Massachusetts and attended Catholic Memorial High School in West Roxbury. During Mildner's senior season at Catholic Memorial High, he finished with a 3-1 record to go along with 50 strikeouts and a 1.14 ERA over 30 innings pitched. Mildner attended the University of Massachusetts before transferring to Le Moyne.
"We are excited to add another strong arm to our rotation this summer" said Raging Tide owner Jason Skinner. "I think this is going to be a very competitive team and we are very anxious for the start of the 2013 season."

Opening Night for the Raging Tide begins at 7:00pm on Thursday, June 6th at The Ballpark in Old Orchard Beach against the Seacoast Mavericks.
