Raging Tide Sign Hartford Freshman Aaron Wilson

OLD ORCHARD BEACH, ME- The Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide has announced the signing of Freshman Infielder Aaron Wilson of Windsor, Connecticut.

Wilson is currently in his first year of college baseball with the Hartford Hawks program of the Division 1 America East Conference after a stellar High School career.

During his time as a student athlete at Northwest Catholic High School, Wilson participated in Baseball, Basketball, and indoor track. Wilson took home several accolades including a 2012 All-CCC West and Class S Connecticut High School Coaches Association (CHSCA) All-State selection along with a reserved spot on the Connecticut All-Star game roster.

Wilson was also named the 2012 Rawlings All-Region Honorable Mention during his senior season and was a Rawlings Northeast Top Prospect in 2010 and 2011. Aaron was also given the distinction of being named to the Connecticut Post's Top-25 players to watch prior to his senior season. Wilson has started 9 of Hartford's first eleven games this season.

Opening Night for the Raging Tide begins at 7:00pm on Thursday, June 6th at The Ballpark in Old Orchard Beach against the Seacoast Mavericks.
