Raging Tide Seeking Host Families

May 5, 2013 - Futures Collegiate Baseball League (FCBL)
Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide News Release

OLD ORCHARD BEACH, ME- The Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide is currently looking for host families to house their players this summer. Host families are an integral part of the organization and provide players from around the country a safe outlet during the course of the season.

A host family is one of the most important and influential aspects of a ballplayer's summer collegiate league baseball experience. For many of these players it will be in a brand new environment, away from both their school and home.

The Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide strongly believes the relationships that are built between players and their host families will be memorable and will last a lifetime. Host families provide a safe and comfortable family environment. These young men will provide a positive influence in the community and in your home.

Players arrive early June and stay until the middle of August. They will play baseball for the majority of the week, and will be involved with many events in the local community.

Each player is a member in good academic standing with their respected institution (NCAA, NAIA, Junior College) meeting all academic, athletic and legal eligibility requirements.

Each member of your family will receive season tickets for the 2013 season, as well as recognition at our "Host Family Night."
