Back in Week Five of the 2006 NIFL Season, you wouldn't have thought this game would end the way it did, that is because in Week Five, the Rage defeated the RiverSharks 43-34. Tonight was a different story, as the RiverCity Rage defeated the Tennessee Riversharks 108-12 at Savvis Center in downtown St. Louis, Missouri. The Riversharks are now (2- 10).
1st QUARTER: Blake Foster reached the endzone on a 25 yard run for Tennessee. For the Rage, Kasey Young reached the endzone after a 1 yard run and Hurtis Chinn caught one pass for a touchdown.
2nd QUARTER: The 2nd quarter was all about the Rage, as Hurtis Chinn caught two touchdown passes, Corey Bethany added another touchdown catch, Jarrit Green ran an interception back 31 yards, and Mike Lawrence rushed into the endzone.
3rd QUARTER: The Rage again took control, with Moses Regular and Hurtis Chinn both catching touchdown passes and Terrell Washington running a fumble recovery back 21 yards.
4th QUARTER: With the score standing at 82-6 heading into the 4th quarter, rookie Josh Lamberson got into the game under center for the Rage. Lamberson started the quarter off hitting Mike Lawarence for a 23 yard touchdown. Then Kasey Young ran it in for his second of the night. Tennessee answered back with D. Strickland rushing in from 12 yards out. Rob Findley then returned a PAT and Kasey Young ran in his third touchdown of the night at 3:22 left in the game.
