
Rage name new radio broadcaster for 2007

St. Charles, MO - The RiverCity Rage have announced their new radio broadcaster for the 2007 season today. Brien Rea was named to fill the open position with the Rage. Rea's responsibilities will include the broadcasting of all 15 regular season games and any playoff games as well as assisting in all media relations tasks.
"We are excited to have Brien on board with the Rage this season," said Aaron McCreight, Rage Director of Media Relations. "Brien's experience and enthusiasm make him a great fit within the Rage family."
Rea, a native of St. Louis, comes to the Rage after spending the last two years as a broadcaster for University of Missouri-St. Louis basketball. He spent last summer as the broadcast assistant for the Gateway Grizzlies. He's a 2005 graduate of Lake Forest College in Chicago. While in college, Brien was the voice of LFC hockey, football, and softball, he also hosted his own sports talk show. In addition to his college experience, Rea had stints working for KMOX and KFNS Radio here in St. Louis, as well as WGN Television in Chicago.
RiverCity Rage games can be heard all season long on their flagship, KSLQ 104.5 FM, as well as KJFF 1400 AM. All games will also be streamed on line at www.ragefootball.com for those fans that live outside the listening area.
