RiverCity Rage News Release
It's an exciting time for fans of pro indoor football in the metro St. Louis area. The RiverCity Rage of the National Indoor Football League will debut the 2006 home schedule at Savvis Center, with the Home Opener against the Cincinnati Marshals on tap for Sunday, March 26th, with a 3 PM Kick-Off.
While media coverage in St. Louis proper has been extensive in the past 15 months, with the impending move to Savvis and the broadening of the fan base in 2006, we are expanding our media coverage and feel that our team news and press release material will be of interest to your readers, listeners and viewers.
The Rage has been a playoff team for the past two seasons under our Head Football Coach Mike Wyatt who has been awarded the Atlantic Conference Coach of the Year trophy two years in a row, and was the Atlantic Conference General Manager of the Year in 2005. The Rage boast of Division One players from schools like Missouri, Kansas State, Illinois, Illinois State, Texas Tech, Kansas and South Carolina. A number of Rage players have had either NFL training camp or NFL-Europe game experience.
