McKinney, TX - The Dallas Charge league losing streak stretched out to nine as they fell 7-0 to the Akron Racers Monday night. Sarah Pauly went the distance for the Racers, allowing just four hits. She struck out six. Pauly improved to 2-0 on the season.

Rookie Cheridan Hawkins got her first NPF start in the circle for the Charge, throwing 5.2 innings.

Sam Fischer and Shellie Robinson each followed with RBI doubles pushing the margin to three. A single by Griffin Joiner brought home the fourth run of the inning and chased Hawkins from the circle. Compton threw three pitches in relief to get the Charge out of the inning.

Akron added three more runs in the final frame, two coming from a Schlopy blast to left. The Charge could not mount a series challenge in their last at bat and the game ended 7-0.
