Quincy Gems News Release
Come join the Quincy Gems! Summer wouldn't be the same without going to QU Stadium and enjoying a Gems game. But did you ever think about where the 26 collegiate baseball players that make up the Gems live for two months? Hosting a Quincy Gems player can be a rewarding experience for the host family. Gem's players are excellent role models for young children and teenagers, and are great company for the entire household. Often, players and host families build a friendship that lasts well beyond the end of the season.
Host families receive two free season tickets, and get recognized during Host Family Night during the season. Hosts provide living accommodations and some meals.
"If you have some young baseball fans that would like a big brother for a summer, or you're an empty nester looking for a two-month house guest, the Quincy Gems can use you! Come join our family.
