Quincy Gems Baseball play the Quincy American Legion tonight at 6:30pm at QU Stadium in an exhibition game.
Gems open the league season with a home game this Thursday, June 2 at 6:30 pm against the Springfield Sliders. The game is sponsored by Y101
The Gems are bringing back "Rock the Park" for the opening weekend home games. Friday nights game is sponsored by Quincy Auto Credit and will have "Raised on Radio" playing after the game until 11pm. Saturday's game is sponsored by Poage Auto Plaza and will feature fireworks after the game! The Quincy Gems and Poage Auto Plaza are also saluting all area scouts of the Mississippi Valley Council with FREE admission tickets for the scouts, and 1/2 price admission for the scout families. Scout tickets are and family discount coupons are available at Poage Auto Plaza, 4300 Broadway. Scouts will present the colors at the Saturday game. Player introductions will be made in GMC pickups!
Season highlights: All home games at 6:30pm
Sunday Family Nights will be back, sponsored by County Market with Free admission tickets available for Sunday 6/12, 6/19, 7/17 and 1/2 price tickets for Sunday 7/3.
Double Play Wednesdays: Every Wednesday home game get 2 admissions for the price of one, and two domestic 16 oz draft beers for the price of one, all day long!
Friday night bands: Every Friday night home game will feature are bands after the game until On Radio 6/3 and 7/15; Horndogs 6/17, and 7/1; Cheeseburgers on 8/5
