As the Quincy Gems clinch the 1st half WEST Division Championship with a 22-8 win over Hannibal last night, and the summer temperature reaching high into the 90's, The Quincy Gems and Blessing Health Systems announce their co-sponsorship of the brand new "Misting Tent" Cooling Station at QU Stadium for the Quincy Gems fans. Blessing Health System is a firm believer of staying hydrated and cooling off during the summer high temperatures. The new cooling station is a natural for the the fans compliments of Blessing Health Systems.
The Quincy Gems will be at home the next 5 days with games and fireworks on the July 1-2-3-4. Blessing Health Systems invites everyone to enjoy the July 4th celebration this weekend at the ballpark and to use the new cooling station!
Commissioner Dave Chase congratulated the Quincy Gems on winning the West 1st half championship. "The Gems have been a play-off team in each of the Prospect Leagues first three seasons!" said Chase.
