
Quest Re-signs Manz

ST. LOUIS, MO., OCTOBER 17, 2002_The St. Louis Quest today announced the signing of opposite hitter Jenny Manz (Orange Park, Fla. University of Florida). Manz is one of two Quest athletes who remained in St. Louis throughout the off-season to assist with community promotions and appearances.
Manz brought power to the Quest in the 2002 inaugural season with a top-five finish in both aces (1.2 apm) and digs (10.7 dpm) per match, as well as averaging 2.0 points and 1.5 kills per game.
In addition to being nicknamed "The Hammer" for her wicked swing, Manz was one of six founding United States Professional Volleyball (USPV) athletes, a two-time collegiate All-American and is only the second player in history to be named Southeastern Conference Player of the Year twice.
The St. Louis Quest, a member of United States Pro Volleyball, begins its 2003 season on the road January 12 in Grand Rapids, Mich. and return for its first home match Thursday, January 16 against the Grand Rapids Force. The Quest will play an expanded, weekend-weighted 10-match home schedule at the Family Arena in St. Charles, Mo.
