Quebec City Kebs Hire New General Manager

Raymond Boisvert, President of the Quebec City Kebs welcomes Mr. Francis Mondou to the team in the position of General Manager.

Mr. Mondou is not a stranger with the Quebec City Kebs, as he has been a critical force in the promotion of the match which will be played in Shawinigan, on February 25. Francis Mondou is a prominent business man in the region. He is the owner of businesses in the sectors of real estate, automotive and other services. In addition to his success in business Mr. Mondou is also a great supporter of sports. He is the co-owner of the Shawinigan Cataractes (LHJMQ) and since 2000 has resided as the president of the Men's Senior Basketball League of Quebec.

"We are very happy to have found someone who possess the experience in managing a sports team and who intimately knows the world of basketball," explains Mr. Boisvert. Going on to add that, "his creativity, craftsmanship and business experience will be an asset. Francis is very passionate about basketball and we are confident that we will be a great team." Mr. Mondou, states, "I am very happy to be implicated as a part of the Quebec City Kebs Team and the Premier Basketball League (PBL). I am confident that I will bring added value to the team. "

The Quebec City Kebs stand 100% behind Head Coach Alejandro Hasbani

Despite the Kebs current standing of one victory, the Quebec City Kebs 100% support Head Coach Alejandro Hasbani. "We always believe and have full confidence that Coach Hasbani is in control of the situation and adds depth to the team. His work is apparent in the attitudes of the team and the new strategies delivered on the court,' declares Mr. Jean-Sebastien Roy, Vice-President of Marketing for the Quebec City Kebs. Who then goes on to address the arrival of Mr. Francis Mondou as an opportunity for the organization to build a closer relationship with the players and coaching staff, "we will be listening to his recommendations on how to drive improvement."

Kia Quebec and Kia Ste- Foy Sponsor Family Day With the Kebs

The Quebec City Kebs invite all families and their young children to attend the Kebs game against the Manchester MillRats at the PEPS (Laval University) this Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 1:00pm. This will be the last match of the season where the Kebs play in the afternoon. The Kebs are holding a special promotion for children under the age of 12 tickets will be $2 and 50 Kia toboggans will be given away throughout the match. The Quebec City Kebs will pay tribute to Canadian soldiers this Saturday. There will be a minute of silence dedicated to families and victims and the Symphony Orchestra of the Royal 22 Regiment will play before the match.
