
QMJHL To Hold Its 20,000th Game

BOUCHERVILLE, Wednesday, January 20, 2010 - The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League will hold, this Friday, the 20,000th game of its history (regular season and playoffs) as the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles travel to Baie-Comeau to battle the Drakkar at the Henry-Léonard Center.
"After an extraordinary season in which the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League celebrated its fortieth anniversary, we are days away from holding our 20,000th game," said the Commissioner, Gilles Courteau. "I'd like to thank our organizations, partners, sponsors and the members of the media for their valued contribution throughout our history, but more specifically a heartfelt thank you to our loyal fans for their unwavering support."
