CHARLOTTETOWN, Tuesday, June 6, 2006 (QMJHL) - The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League Annual Session gets under way tomorrow in Charlottetown. Representatives from all 18 teams will be on hand to participate in daily meetings and activities during the four day event, which concludes with the Entry Draft on Saturday.
Governors, general managers, head coaches, therapists, academic consultants, doctors and marketing directors are all present to discuss key issues surrounding QMJHL undertakings.
Activities include the golf tournament at Fox Meadow Golf & Country Club on Thursday, the trade period on Friday morning followed by the Top Prospects presentation at the Carrefour de L'Isle Saint-Jean and the Commissioner's press conference. Then, in the evening, Mr. Gilles Courteau hosts his annual cocktail.
Finally, the 2006 QMJHL Entry Draft is held all day on Saturday.
