Gwinnett Stripers News Release

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA - With the fall fast approaching, the Gwinnett Braves have announced two off-season events set to take place at Coolray Field on Saturday, October 6. The 2012 Public Safety Fall Festival will take place from 10 AM to 2 PM that day, while the Community Craft and Neighborhood Yard Sale will run from 11 AM to 2 PM.

The G-Braves are teaming up with the Gwinnett County Police Department and the Gwinnett County Fire Department for this year's Public Safety Fall Fest, featuring new attractions and entertainment for the whole family. Watch police and fire departments battle in a series of softball games, explore the car show, take part in the blood drive and enjoy numerous kids activities at this year's festival. The annual event is from 10 AM to 2 PM and is expected to draw more than 4,000 attendees. There is no cost to attend.

Alongside the festival, the G-Braves are also hosting the first ever Community Craft and Neighborhood Yard Sale from 11 AM to 2 PM in Lot A next to Coolray Field. This is a great fundraising opportunity for churches, neighborhoods, organizations, small groups and families to participate as a vendor. Vendors are welcome to sell craft items, baked goods, furniture, collectibles, clothes and other merchandise and will keep 100% of the profit. Lot fees will benefit both the Atlanta Braves Foundation and local non-profit groups through the Gwinnett Braves Grant Program.

Those interested in purchasing a lot may do so by downloading a registration form online at gwinnettbraves.com or emailing G-Braves' Community Relations Manager Lindsay Harmon at lindsay.harmon@braves.com.

Season tickets for the 2013 campaign are on sale now by calling the Coolray Field Box Office at (678) 277-0340. For more information on 2013 packages, visit gwinnettbraves.com/2013.
