KOKOMO, IND. - A line of strong storms that rolled through the Kokomo area caused the 2016 Prospect League all-star game to be scrubbed with just four innings complete.

The West held a slim 3-2 lead over the host East team when the storms hit. The two sides waited out a lightning delay of 49 minutes before the game was called off. Due to the fact that it didn't reach the required five innings, statistics didn't count.

The 2016 Prospect League second half resumes Thursday, July 14, when the Quincy Gems travel to DuPage for a 6:30 p.m. Central Standard Time start.
